I am feeling exhausted today ...
Why ? Because the guys living one level below us, decided to retest their stereo @2.00 am. Great Stuff !
I am starting to think, they are kind of vampires, since they always come to life after 10pm. Maybe I should try garlic ?

Actually this is how I feel right now, trying to track my Thinkpad online, while they just packed it up.

I have just survived an emergency session, being treated by an experienced dentist and two wonderful ladies. So far no pain anymore, but the anesthesia is still working and my face still half paralyzed, that's why I was thinking of TwoFace.
These drugs are fairly powerful these days. Last time, when I had a similar injection, it took half an hour to show any results, but this was more than seven years ago, while todays treatment was more like suddenly lying under a big pillow.

Thank you science, for supplying us with efficient pain killers.

I have been too tired to do anything else after that, so I went straight to bed. This might have been caused by my upcoming flu, though, which I am still trying to fight down, in order to be fit for my next vacation :D

During the past I have been sad on Valentines Day, because my father died on Febr. 14, nearly a decade ago. Now it makes me sad to realize, that I start forgetting about it.

We will have two more consumers in our family in the future. This little troublemaker here is Jacky. The name of his sister is presently still topic of ongoing discussions. (Can't wait to have real children ;) ). More of them you can find here.

The Sister of Jacky is called now Lana. She is still smaller than Jacky, but she starts fighting for emancipation.

29 years done, 50 to go .

The party was really nice, although it reminded me to student parties in Prenzlberg and wasn't really, what we thought, it would be. In the end, there were so many uninvited guests, that more food would have been needed, if only one more person wanted something. I have to add that this party took place in a really quiet village in the south of Berlin, where student parties are rather unusual.

I will have to have a word with my girlfriend about Engagement-, Birthday-,End of Studies- and just for fun parties .....

Yesterday night, I was just on my way home, when five guys asked me where to get to a night club. Not a specific one, just anyone. It happened, they where from Manchester and they where here just for a few days.They were all quite nice and they invited me for a beer. We took some pictures in a bar nearby and we agreed to meet again next evening. Let's see how that goes, I'll take them into the Oskar Wilde Pub close to where I live. They should have no trouble getting along with the people there :)
